What is the difference between a life coach and an executive coach?
A life coach commonly works with life goals, choices, habits, relationships and professional identity within a non-clinical scope. An executive coach works with leaders and organisational systems involving sponsors, business outcomes, multi-party confidentiality and observable leadership behaviours. Core coaching skills overlap, while executive work requires stronger capability in organisational context, three-way contracting and conflicts of interest.
