The Coach: A Step Forward
Why does one need to change?
There is no need to change without a reason. The idea of change is tied to the nature of the work you practice, especially if the work is based on the skills you implement in your professional life.
The important thing to know is that people change through something else, and the need for communication is based on the necessity to interact with those personalities.
The need to communicate is based on:
- Effective dialogue
- Objective conversation
- Positive communication
- Clear speech
- Formulating opinions exchange
- Good listening
All of these methods are part of the communication process that a coach needs to practice. However, the coach cannot do this unless they possess the skills that enable them to do so.
The important thing is that these skills are built on a personality that can skillfully perform those roles in people’s lives, and that these roles are genuine, not emotional, and applied only to some people in the work environment.
The Coach: A Personality for Communication
There are those who master the communication methods mentioned above, and then there are those who only communicate adequately. The former can manage the conversation, which is part of a coach’s role, while the latter cannot manage the coaching process because they lack the essential skill.
