CPQ Continuing Development & Credential Renewal Policy

Three-year renewal cycle with 36 continuing-development credits and ethics re-acknowledgement

External Review Draftv1.0Issued 2026-08-16Review 2026-11-16
External Review DraftNumeric or procedural requirements not fixed in the original source materials remain proposed CPQ™ policy until formally adopted.

1. Cycle

Document basis: CPQ institutional files and diploma cards, Discover Your Professional Path in Coaching, Ethics of Coaching Law, and CPQ's published professional content. New numeric or procedural requirements not already fixed in the source materials are presented as proposed CPQ internal policy for external review, not as a claim of recognition or equivalence by another body.

External-review proposal: CPQ-T validity is three years. Renewal opens 90 days before expiry and may allow late completion according to then-current administrative rules.

2. 36 Credits

  • 6 credits ethics and standards.
  • 6 credits supervision or mentor coaching.
  • 18 credits CPQ core competencies.
  • 6 credits specialisation, research, education or professional contribution.

One accepted learning hour equals one credit unless policy states otherwise.

3. Evidence

Credential holders retain attendance certificates, supervision logs or research/education outputs and may be sampled for audit. Falsifying renewal evidence is a separate ethical breach.

4. Outcome

On successful renewal the registry validity extends for three years. If requirements are not met the status becomes Expired and the holder may not describe the credential as “Active CPQ-T”. Reinstatement may follow a separate procedure without altering prior educational awards.
