CPQ™ Governance Framework
Board, committee, remit, conflict, recusal and decision-record framework
1. Existing Executive Structure
Document basis: CPQ institutional files and diploma cards, Discover Your Professional Path in Coaching, Ethics of Coaching Law, and CPQ's published professional content. New numeric or procedural requirements not already fixed in the source materials are presented as proposed CPQ internal policy for external review, not as a claim of recognition or equivalence by another body.
Governance builds on the executive structure documented in the CPQ Compendium (CEO, COO, CFO and training, business-development, marketing and support functions) and adds professional committees separating technical decisions from day-to-day operations.
2. Committees
- Standards & Ethics Committee: standards, ethics and revisions.
- Credentials & Assessment Committee: credential policy, assessors and exceptions.
- Education Quality Committee: CPQ programmes and education providers.
- Research & Knowledge Committee: research methodology, glossary and reference content.
- Appeals Panel: appeals independent from the original decision.
3. Conflicts & Recusal
Members make annual and case-specific disclosures. Conflicts include ownership, financial or family relationships, direct training/supervision relationships or material disputes. Where the conflict is material, the member recuses from deliberation and final vote.
4. Decisions & Version Records
Each standards, credential, sanction or appeal decision records a date, reference, decision body, reason summary and implementation status. Standards revisions are recorded in the Version & Policy Registry.
